What are We Really Teaching, Vocabulary and Grammar?




This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist World Language (LOTE) educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.

Important Session Information:


Teachers will read excerpts of research regarding the nature of language, the definition of communication and the purpose of World Language instruction to answer the question, “What are we really teaching?”  In this session, the debate between second language acquisition and second language learning will take center stage. 

THERE ARE TWO PRICE TIERS FOR THIS EVENT

  1. REGION 10 WORLD LANGUAGES PACKAGE MEMBERS RECEIVE FREE REGISTRATION
  2. IN-REGION/OUT OF REGION, PACKAGE MEMBERS PAY $100.
