This hands-on professional development will demonstrate how purposeful planning can benefit struggling students no matter their ability level.  We will build activities based on local scope and sequence, and look at where FITNESSGRAM skills fall on the continuum of TEKS.  We will engage in reflection of our current practices, and incorporate meaningful modifications to best practices. We will discuss and demonstrate how to incorporate support staff and utilize support staff to the maximum student success.  This training will demonstrate differentiation in a PE setting, help teachers develop a plan to teach to the wide ability levels, and how to generalize skills for recreational and leisure opportunities throughout the school day.
