Low Incidence Disabilities (LID) training
Building a Foundation Team Coaching Cohort




Training relating to education or services for students with low incidence disabilities.

Important Session Information:


Are you searching for a way to evaluate your campus program for students with complex needs or significant cognitive disabilities? Do you want a way to determine areas for program improvement? This training covers the five Quality Indicators of Effective Practices for working with students with significant cognitive disabilities and aligns with the Texas Complex Access Network's Rubric of Effective Practices. In order to receive credit, participants will need to attend all 5 sessions: 1 hour Zoom introductory session and 4 full day sessions at Region 10. Each onsite session will include a Make and Take component to address a topic covered in that day's training. Participants will complete self-assessment activities and have an opportunity to request follow-up coaching on self-identified areas of need. Session dates: 10/6/22, 11/4/22, 12/2/22, 2/3/23, &3/3/23
