Active Learning is an instructional approach for students with significant cognitive disabilities or sensory impairments and complex access needs. This session will go over information related to implementing the Active Learning approach.
Important Session Information:
Paraprofessionals are an essential team member in the Active Learning classroom. This training session will give an overview of Lilli Nielsen's Active Learning Instructional Approach and discussion of the roles a paraprofessional might have in an Active Learning classroom. Participants will have an opportunity to explore the resources available to educators and families to support students at home, in schools, and in the community.
