Active Learning is an instructional approach for students with significant cognitive disabilities or sensory impairments and complex access needs. This session will go over information related to implementing the Active Learning approach.

Important Session Information:


In this session participants will go over the basics of implementing the Active Learning approach developed by Dr. Lilli Nielsen in their classroom. Attendees will have an opportunity to discuss how to orgainze their classroom to better utilize the Active Learning approach and resources such as the Flexible Individual Enriched Level Appropriate (FIELA) Curriculum.
