Purposeful Play in Secondary Math
Spring, 2023




During this online-learning experience, participants will explore a variety of math games that can be implemented during instruction to support high levels of student engagement. Using games, educators will experience and create their own opportunities for students to practice math concepts.

During this online-learning experience, participants will explore a variety of math puzzles and games that can be implemented during instruction to support high levels of student engagement. Using puzzles and games, educators will experience and create their own opportunities for students to practice math concepts.

After registering, participants will receive an email with a link to the Google site that houses all course instructions and activities.

This is an asynchronous course with registration opening January 2, 2023. To earn the 4-hours of professional development credit, participants must complete and submit all work by May 26, 2023. All submitted work will be reviewed prior to credit being awarded. Professional development certificates will be available by June 2, 2023.
