Stations for Low Incidence and Life Skills Classrooms:
Setting up the classroom with learning stations provides an structure for students to have independent practice time and opportunities to schedule small group or one-on-one instruction for introducing new skills. In this session participants will discuss how centers or stations can be utilized at different grade levels from early childhood through high school, determine what activities might be appropriate for the grade level they work with, and explore examples of stations for different curricular areas.
