In this workshop, teachers who are brand new or one to three years into teaching will discover through experiential and collaborative learning the tenets needed to help students develop language successfully in the classroom: planning with backward design using the TEKS and the lesson cycle, delivering instruction in the target language, assessing student language performance and creating a positive classroom environment.
