ALT - Administrative Leadership Training
Understanding and Impacting School Culture and Well-being - Gallup, Inc.

Administrator Leadership Training is an ongoing requirement for district administrators as part of their professional growth-driven education.  Region 10 ESC, a TEA approved sponsor for these trainings, has initiated a cooperative of Region 10 districts/charter schools to:

  1. Identify needed training
  2. Schedule, communicate and deliver needed training. These training opportunities meet the professional growth needs of a wide variety of local district administrators and focus on identified major functions of a school district's central office.

The cost for Charter Schools/Districts/Private Schools who have not purchased the Region 10 Administrative Services Package and non-Region 10 participants is $200 per person, per event.

ALT Leadership Strand: School Culture & Social Emotional Support

After all staff is hired and the school year has begun, how do you enhance employee engagement to maximize performance? The importance and focus on school culture is a rapidly growing point of emphasis within our education system. However, understanding just what creates and impacts a school’s culture has been far from simple, not to mention finding proven ways to measure and improve it.

Gallup has been studying how to measure and improve workplace culture for over 60 years.

Over those six decades Gallup as collected data from tens of millions of respondents, identifying and refining measures of employee and student engagement, talent-based hiring, talent development, and well-being. Through myriads of research with meaningful outcomes validated through meta-analyses, case studies, utility analyses, and impact analyses, Gallup provides advice and insights to hundreds of districts and universities every year to support proven approaches to building a positive school and workplace culture.

This training will include insights from Gallup’s engagement and well-being research, and leadership strategies to engage talented teachers and principals through strengths-based development.
