Low Incidence Disabilities (LID) training
Roles of Teachers and Paraprofessionals: Working Cooperatively and Effectively

Training relating to education or services for students with low incidence disabilities.

Important Session Information:

While schools refer to support staff working with students by different titles such as paraprofessional, classroom aide, and para-educators, their support and assistance in the classroom is often critical to the overall success of classrooms as well as for individual students. In this professional development session, Marcia Rohrer and Nannette Samson offer guidelines and tips on working cooperatively by defining clear expectations and responsibilities as well as how to foster clear communication among all staff members. It is recommended that teachers and support staff attend this professional development together.
