DRSR - Elementary Children's Books




This Social Studies professional learning opportunity will provide support with implementing the Social Studies TEKS, research-based instructional strategies focused on inquiry, historical thinking, future-ready learning, and access to quality resources targeted to provide support for all elementary courses (grades K-5).

Important Session Information:


The Texas Municipal Courts Education Center and Law-Related Education/State Bar of Texas have created curriculum units that incorporate traffic safety into engaging Children's Books and activities for K-5 Social Studies, ELAR, and math classes! All lessons are correlated to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). All teachers attending this session will receive, free of charge, engaging hands-on materials and curricula for use in the classroom. Materials in Spanish are also included
