APLA: Reimagining Your Leadership
“How Educators Can Work Together To Ensure Safe Environments For All” (9/27/22)




Targeted Audience: Assistant Principals, Dean of Instructions and Curriculum, Principals and Interns

(Participants for the Academy are designated by their District Office)

Leaders today will be called upon to demonstrate a variety of skills that address demands as mandated by the state. Assistant Principals must have cutting-edge professional knowledge and skills to ensure exemplary achievement for all students in the 21st-century schools.

Through a cooperative effort between your district and Region 10 ESC, you have an opportunity to enhance your leadership skills by going beyond traditional campus administrator training. By committing to Region 10 Educational Service Center’s Assistant Principal Leadership Academy (APLA), you can:

  • participate in an analysis of core leadership strengths

  • receive training from nationally recognized consultants and superintendents in the field of education an leadership

  • explore the latest research-based resources, literature and articles 

  • interact with outstanding professionals for reflection, dialogue and problem solving

Note: The cost for Charter Schools/Districts/Private Schools who have not purchased the Region 10 Administrative Services Package and non-Region 10 participants is $1,250.00 per person.

How Educators Can Work Together to Ensure Safe Environments for All

This session is focused on HOW educators can work together most effectively to ensure they are creating psychologically safe environments for both adults and students. Through engaging with robust research and work related to the traits of high performing teams, the neuroscience of trust, and business chemistry, we will take participants on a journey to understand how they might upgrade the way they work together in service of student learning.
