When a teacher confers with an individual student or a small group of students, there is increased opportunity for formative assessment data and differentiation. Writing conferences provide reinforcement and/or enrichment of skills that lead to student growth. In this one-hour Zoom session, we'll explore the what, when, why, and how of conducting writing conferences with secondary students. Participants will evaluate a writing conference and collaborate to apply resources and strategies to their unique classroom community. 

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Please note: You must register for this Zoom session in two places:

All participants registered on the Region 10 website will receive Zoom login information prior to the session date.
