Members of the Board Trustees of Independent School Districts are required to receive an update after each session of the Texas Legislature. Region 10 ESC offers this opportunity for Trustees in order to help them better understand the legal changes affecting public school education as a result of the 87th Texas Legislative Session. The knowledge gained from this update will help trustees better perform their responsibilities in school governance.
The September 16th, 2021 Due to the increase in cases of COVID-19 and the Red Oak ISD
protocols, we are changing this session to a virtual event. Registered
participants will received a zoom invitation prior to the session.
Superintendents and school board members of individual districts may consider
meeting as a team to view this training together so that discussion and
questions may be addressed as part of the training.
