By the end of the workshop, teachers will be able to articulate essential understandings, desired results, and acceptable evidence of learning for the Fine Arts courses they teach.  They’ll also examine how to plan an instructional year at a glance using essential questions and their standards.  This workshop is intended for novice learners who are new to planning with backward design and for veteran educators who are looking to establish a foundation for unit building and curriculum work.
