Mental Health Training and Awareness
Chronic Stress: Barriers and Bouncing Back 4/16/21




Mental health professionals understand the biological, cultural, developmental, and social influences on mental and behavioral health, its impacts on learning, and evidence-based strategies to promote social–emotional functioning. Mental Health Training & Awareness supports school staff by increasing awareness and knowledge of mental health and co-occurring disorders as well as the presenting symptoms that affect an individual’s ability to thrive.

Important Session Information:


We will discuss neurological, physical and emotional responses to chronic stress, examine how our own histories of trauma may have been impacted by the pandemic and changes we have experiences and will explore potential barriers to bouncing back as well as what we can do to improve our resiliency.
