During this session A.W. Brown administrators will develop and clarify their understanding of Child Find requirements, data utilized when making these decisions and the their roles and responsibilities as the LEA representative in an ARD meeting. The laws that drive these processes and legal cases along with A.W. Brown’s Special Education Operating Guidelines and MTSS process will be connected to ensure individuals responsible for these processes know the role they play in ensuring FAPE for students with disabilities.
