**Please note, this learning experience is a virtual event and will not be hosted at a physical site.**
Learning to talk and understand spoken language is a natural process; however, research supports the fact that learning to read is not. Although learning to read appears to be effortless for some, many struggle to read words and/or comprehend text. In this session, participants will gain an understanding of the science behind teaching students to read.
This a self-paced course that will be open from March 15, 2021 to April 5, 2021. Registration begins on February 15, 2021 and ends on March 22, 2021. After registering, participants will receive an email with a link to the Google site that houses all of the course materials.
There are two price tiers for this event:
- Members of the Region 10 Instructional Services Package receive free registration.
- R10 teachers and Out of Region teachers who are not members of the Region 10 Instructional Services Package pay $100.00.
