Challenge GT learners to develop media literacy and revitalize their research skills. Explore curated content and practice designing authentic learning experiences to push Generation Z learners to think, evaluate, and apply their knowledge through authentic research. This session is a 6 hour GT update.
This session is an asynchronous opportunity to learn at your own pace, whenever, wherever; there is no live component to this session. Access to session materials will be emailed the morning of the session start (be sure to check spam folders too!). An application of learning and reflection must be submitted for 6 hours of GT credit.
All coursework must be completed and submitted by May 3, 2021 and certificates will be awarded on May 7, 2021.
There are two price tiers for this event:
- Members of the Region 10 Advanced Academics Coop/Gifted and Talented Package receive free registration.
- R10 teachers and Out of Region teachers who are not members of the Region 10 Advanced Academics Coop/Gifted and Talented Package pay $150.00.
