Bookends for Math Lesson Planning-TEKS to Learning Objective to Exit Ticket

Participants will unpack math standards, write aligned learning objectives, and develop and create exemplars for their aligned exit tickets. Exit tickets allows teachers to see if the students "Caught what you taught"; therefore improving teachers' instruction and improve students' learning. Participants will use a variety of digital or non-digital tools, TRS Formative Assessments, Performance Assessments and the Region 10 Pacing tools to support the development of the bookends for lesson planning. This 3 hour session will include whole group and independent work time. All participants must complete an assigned activity during the session to receive the 3 hours credit.
