What is the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support and how does it relate to traditional Response to Intervention (RtI)? Participants will learn the vital importance of focusing on differentiating tier 1 instruction for all students, looking beyond academic deficits to a whole-child strength-based approach, and how to naturally integrate social emotional learning (SEL) in order to build strong learning partnerships with their students. We will learn how culturally responsive teaching aligns with Universal Design Learning (UDL) as a tool for facilitating differentiated instruction.
