THIS IS A SELF-PACED COURSE THAT BEGINS ON FEBRUARY 1, 2021 AND ENDS ON FEBRUARY 19, 2021.
ESSA defines professional development as, “activities that …are sustained (not stand-alone, 1-day, or short-term workshops), intensive, collaborative, job-embedded, data-driven, and classroom focused.” (S. 1177, Section 8002, page 295, paragraph 42) In this job embedded PD session, participants will incorporate their choice of a series of engaging pre-designed writing lessons into their own classroom, analyze and submit student work samples from the writing lessons, and reflect upon the learning gained from the lesson implementation. The lessons included in the training are suitable for face to face, virtual, and/or hybrid instruction. **Participants will have a 3 week window to implement the lessons and submit all required coursework. Please note the start and end dates for all Cohorts.

- Members of the Region 10 Instructional Services Package receive free registration.
- R10 teachers and Out of Region teachers who are not members of the Region 10 Instructional Services Package pay $150.00.
