Behavior
A Playbook For Igniting Sparks: An Essential SEL Component for Parents and Teachers

Trainings designed to provide strategies for managing challenging behaviors in both general education and special education classrooms.

Important Session Information:

When it comes to Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) educators and parents alike often focus on CASEL’s 5 SEL competences of: self-awareness, social awareness, responsible decision-making, self-management, and relationship skills. These are very important and adding another layer of sparks can make SEL more meaningful when those competences are linked by activities and interests that unleashes youth’s energy and joy. For this session, come learn about SEL, sparks, and how to become a spark champion to help our youth go from surviving to thriving.
