21st Century Skills Through Social Studies
Cross Cultural & Citizenship




So many of the skills our students need to be successful are overlooked as we teach the TEKS. Through this series we will share ideas and resources for teaching specific 21st century skills such as Critical Consumption and Thinking, Creative and Curiosity, Collaboration and Communication and Cross Cultural and Citizenship using our social studies curriculum. Throughout this session we will also highlight the why and how of developing effective questioning strategies for both students and teachers that promote critical thinking and discussion to support a rigorous experience.
