**Please note, this learning experience is a virtual event and will not be hosted at a physical site.**
As a result of this blended learning experience, World Language (LOTE) educators will be able to articulate the backward design process in terms of language performance, the LOTE TEKS and they will be able to use both to plan an aligned lesson. Participants will first watch a pre-recorded video to review the basic components of backward design & the TEKS. After viewing this initial input, teachers will meet live via zoom to experience a model, aligned lesson planned backward using the TEKS. Following analysis of the model lesson, participants will work independently to write their own lesson and then meet via zoom to receive feedback. Zoom meetings are from 10:30-12:00 and 2:00-3:00. This session is ideal for any World Language educator, beginner or veteran, who wishes to become a TEKS and backward design rockstar! By deepening foundational learning in both, planning for language performance will become a breeze!
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
