Tips for Trauma Informed Connection While Teaching Online




Mental health professionals understand the biological, cultural, developmental, and social influences on mental and behavioral health, its impacts on learning, and evidence-based strategies to promote social–emotional functioning. Mental Health Training & Awareness supports school staff by increasing awareness and knowledge of mental health and co-occurring disorders as well as the presenting symptoms that affect an individual’s ability to thrive.

Important Session Information:


Teaching online is hard work. We will discuss strategies for staff to stay student centered and trauma informed while they support their students online during the pandemic.
