Participants will learn about the components of the National Board Certification process. They will closely examine certification requirements and will have the opportunity to dialogue with National Board Certified Teachers from across Texas. Information will also be provided as to how you can apply to be a member of the Region 10 ESC National Board Cohort.

Important Session Information:

Are you eligible to pursue National Board Certification?

ü  They are classified as a classroom teacher

ü  Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

ü  Have completed three years of successful teaching

ü  Hold a valid state teaching license

(Exception: If you are teaching where a license is not required)
