Please join us via onsite (preferred) or via Zoom as we cover how to create/remediate Google Docs and Slides and discuss basic web accessibility requirements. Documents and slides that are compliant with guidelines based on the American with Disabilities Act allow EVERYONE, including those with disabilities, to benefit and access the information you're trying to share.
Topics covered include, but are not limited to: Headings, styles, images, proper spacing, fonts, lists, links, tables, accessibility testing, slide order, color contrast, etc.
- Do you know how to make a table accessible?
- How to implement proper spacing in a document?
- What does good color contrast mean?
- Do you know how to use Grackle to check your document/slide?
If you answered 'no' to any of these questions, this class is for you!
This class is appropriate for all levels of experience.
Bring your laptop for hands-on experience as we work through accessibility exercises.
