Important Session Information:


Co-teaching in early childhood poses unique challenges for educators. In order to write success stories within a co-teaching environment, several strategies and instructional models need to be implemented. In this session, educators will focus on ways to create effective teaching partnerships, guidelines for successful co-teaching, parity in duties/instructional roles, use of a variety of teaching approaches, planning the delivery of instruction, and the responsibilities of each teacher. Participants will leave this session with an understanding of various co-teaching models and strategies to adapt the Pre-K guidelines as well as enthusiasm, confidence, knowledge and strategies emphasizing educational growth for a diverse population of students..
