THIS IS A TWO-PART TRAINING. PARTICIPANTS MUST ATTEND BOTH SESSIONS (Session 1 on September 16 and Session 2 on September 17).
In this course, participants learn about the importance of adults’ self-awareness and management of stress when working with young children in this context of COVID-19, especially the re-opening of programs and services. Participants also learn about the factors that support coping and resilience for children and adults. Specific topics addressed include building attuned and responsive relationships, managing physical distancing without doing harm, arranging the environment and learning how play can support stress reduction and healing.
