Region10 SVL - Supporting Students with Dyslexia in the Regular Education Classroom through Mindfulness and Social Emotional Empowerment Part A




This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material and strategies to assist educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.  


Important Session Information:


This session will focus on best practices proven to support students with Dyslexia in the general/regular education classroom, through mindfulness strategies that empower social and emotional confidence.

This blended learning experience will include a live virtual discussion for the first hour and a asynchronous component. To receive three hours of professional development credit, it is necessary to first attend the live webinar and then to submit the specified, electronic proof of self-paced learning by the deadline.

Components include:

  • Virtual F2F meeting via Zoom from 9:00-11:00. Zoom link sent in confirmation email
  • Asynchronous time on your own to apply learning, create product or other evidence of learning. Evidence of learning must be submitted no later than 6:00pm on day of session. Directions will be provided in the webinar.
