Teaching and Supporting Students after COVID-19

The current public health crisis with regard to COVID-19 is disruptive not only to learning but to the way education is offered. As life “returns to normal”, what must teachers know and be able to do to help support our students and the stress and trauma they have faced over the past several months? This session will explore what teachers need to know about the emotional effects of trauma on our students, examine how educators can support and teach their students as they return to school, and consider how education might forever change as schools move beyond this moment in time.

Important Session Information:

**Please note, this learning experience is a virtual event and will not be hosted at a physical site.**
