Meaningful Math in Pre-K

Meaningful math concepts are developed when children have the opportunity to play and explore through hands-on experiences. Use the Texas Pre-Kindergarten Guidelines as a foundation for planning purposeful math learning activities for young children. Discover how to use budget friendly and common classroom materials for center and small group math activities. Join us for this virtual, blended professional development experience where participants will discover, share, and plan purposeful Pre-K math experiences. Participants will attend and collaborate with other educators over a one-hour live webinar and receive the instructions to complete a two-hour, self-paced application learning module. Note: To receive three hours of professional development credit, it is necessary to attend the live webinar and submit the specified, electronic proof of self-paced learning.
