Fine Arts-Addressing Student Gaps in Learning Due to COVID-19: Part II, Differentiating Instruction

This blended workshop is the second in a three part series of learning experiences designed to help Fine Arts educators plan for student learning gaps as a result of COVID 19.  For a complete learning experience, it is recommended that educators take all three parts in the order they are offered.  However, to offer flexibility and choice, each part may also be taken separately based on each educator’s needs. As a result of this workshop, Fine Arts educators will be able to define differentiation and articulate how it can be used to help students who have gaps in learning.  This blended course includes three steps:  an at home video on differentiation and planning differentiated tasks (1 hour), independent reflection and lesson planning (1 hour) and a zoom meeting to share and receive feedback on differentiated tasks (2:00-3:00 pm).  Zoom meetings will be set up with different rooms for collaboration and discussion in job alike areas.
