VI: Visually Impaired Services Events
Cortical Visual Impairment: Day 4

Events related to the Evaluation and Instruction of Students with Visual Impairments

Important Session Information:

Conducting an Informal, CVI Range Assessment Virtually During the 20-21 School Year

This, "Zoom" training is designed for Region 10 VI professionals (TVI and COMS), as during any other school year, many teachers of students with visual impairments are being given referrals to conduct Functional Vision Evaluations with students who are Cortically Visually Impaired (CVI).  However, since many of our students with CVI are often medically fragile, parents are choosing for them to stay home and avoid direct contact with others, so their risk for infection is less.  How can a TVI conduct an assessment remotely?  Come to this training and learn how one TVI does this and learn ideas for conducting a virtual assessment of your own.

Presenter:  Diane Sheline
