National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Awareness Webinar for District Leadership




HB 3 highlighted The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) as a way to recruit, retain, and support highly effective teachers in all schools. Region 10 ESC is excited to host a National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Awareness Webinar. The intended audience for this meeting is district leadership. During this webinar, district leadership will learn about the components of the National Board Certification process how this pathway can be a consideration for LEAs. 

 


Important Session Information:


Are your teachers eligible to pursue National Board Certification?

ü  They are classified as a classroom teacher

ü  Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

ü  Have completed three years of successful teaching

ü  Hold a valid state teaching license

(Exception: If you are teaching where a license is not required)

 

* This session is free to all Districts/Private Schools and Charter Schools who have purchased the Region 10 Administrative Services Package. All non-Region 10 participants will pay $99.00 per person for this webinar.
