Come learn how to make your Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint presentations Accessible for students, teachers, and parents with disabilities. All the training classes cover different software so the material varies with the software.
NEW Hands-on Web Accessibility Remediation training is now being offered to our Region 10 districts! Learn how to create compliant Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents so that your visually impaired students, teachers, and parents can utilize screen readers effectively. Remember, non-accessible documents can trigger an official complaint via an OCR (Office of Civil Rights) notice, or worse - a lawsuit!
In addition, participants will learn how to correct transcripts and sync them for YouTube closed captioning. (YouTube's auto-generated transcripts are NOT fully compliant! Learn methods to fix them.) Implementing the skills you learn in this training will help your district work towards compliance with the American with Disabilities Act.
COST: Region 10 LEAs: Only $150 per attendee for a full day of training! Out-of-Region: $200 per attendee
