Support for the Science and Social Studies Classroom

This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.  

Important Session Information:

Research shows that school librarians can play a pivotal role in facilitating learning of all subjects in elementary and secondary schools including science and social Studies. The school library can foster youth engagement in authentic inquiry practices and engage young people’s everyday life interests in learning. This workshop will explore best practices, research, and resources to enable the librarian to enhance science education efforts in schools.

Please bring a charged device capable of internet access.

NO Charge for Region 10 Library Cooperative members. In-Region, Non-coop members will be charged $100.00 at check out.
