Boundary Invasions...How to Stay Clear!

This training introduces the subject of “boundary invasions” and “slippery slopes” as relates to educational ethics.  Educators are place in a wide variety of situations where it is important to quickly recognize and appropriately react to red flags.  Information to be covered includes:

  • Intentional vs unintentional boundary invasion
  • Types of violations
  • Senate Bill 7/ Superintendent reporting requirements
  • How to maintain appropriate boundaries
  • Role of teacher/coach
  • Educator Code of Ethics
  • Scenarios for discussion

If you are a current employee of a Region 10 District/Charter or Private School that has purchased the Human Resources Package, you are eligible to attend at no charge UP TO YOUR SCHOOL’S DESIGNATED ALLOTMENT.   Additional employees over the school’s allotment will be charged half price.  For all other participants there is a $75 registration fee due when registering.
