Becoming a Trauma Informed Educator 2




Trauma impacts us all! Participants will discuss adverse childhood experiences and how those experiences impact learning, relating, and the development of social-emotional skills. Through interactive discussion and video, we will begin to learn more appropriate responses to students who have been impacted by trauma, understand trauma safe schools, and develop our own set of self-awareness and self-care skills. This is an introductory session to Trauma Informed Care Series.

Trauma impacts us all!  Participants will discuss adverse childhood experiences, its impact on children and adults, the effects on learning, relating, and developing social emotional skills. Through interactive discussion and video we will begin to learn more appropriate responses to students who have been impacted by trauma, understand trauma safe schools and develop our own set of self-awareness and self-care skills. This is an introductory session to Trauma Informed Care Series. This event is free to all Region 10 schools.

There will be CEU credit available for LPC and SW.
