In this session we will work on the Texas Cybersecurity Framework and how this relates to the mandates outlined in SB 820. We will also discuss HB 3834 and will provide an overview of INFOSEC IQ. Finally, we will introduce the first of the five Texas Cybersecurity Framework domains. Our aim is to help LEAs work on their self-assessment against the 40 recommended cybersecurity controls and develop a remediation plan to address any issues/gaps in the technology practices and infrastructure.
