YMCA Civic Leadership Program Training for NEW Teacher Advisors




This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.


Important Session Information:


Learn how to empower and engage middle school and high school youth in civic engagement through YMCA Youth and Government and Model United Nations. Training will entail YMCA Club Approach, Program Basics, YMCA teen program policies and procedures, and how to best empower and lead teens to be responsible citizens and future leaders of our nation. Mandatory for all participating clubs. Region 10 credits for this training. If you cannot attend training, please notify your District Director.

Check in starting at 8:00 a.m.

Light breakfast and lunch is provided.
