This 6-hour course will cover Procurement Procedures as required for all purchases made with Child Nutrition Federal Funds. This includes Informal and Formal procurement practices, Buy American Provision and Local Preference, as well as required manuals such as Code of Conduct and Procurement Procedures Manual. The presentation will also include a review of purchasing regulations found in the Administrator’s Reference Manual (ARM) Section 17 and the Code of Federal Regulations (Part 2 CFR 200.318-326).
This class is for Food Service Directors and other staff members who handle purchasing with CN funds or procurement procedures on behalf of their CN departments. This course will not cover EDGAR.
