This session is to provide Mental Health First Aid to your community. The stigma surrounding mental illness often prevents people from seeking help or even acknowledging that they need help. And if they do want help, they don't know where to turn. Mental Health First Aid equips the public to help youth with mental illness connect to care. Our presenter for this session is Abel Hernandez of Metro Care Services.
This workshop is available for currently employed educators in Region 10 public school districts, charter schools, and private schools. If you have any further questions, and/or need further registration information please contact Mary Matzek 972-348-1394.
