Do you like spending time outside? Do you prefer to learn outside of the classroom in a collaborative manner? If you answered ‘yes’, then the Outdoor Inquiry Learning Series is perfect for you. Region 10 Teaching and Learning Consultants will guide you on an outdoor learning journey based on your content area. This is experiential and hands-on learning at its finest through the lens of Citizen Science! The first part of the day will be spent outside with hands-on learning that will involve quite a bit of walking. The second part of the day will be a collaborative effort that forms a vision of how to bring the content of our day to the classroom. Come and Learn in the great outdoors.
We will meet at the main gate of the children’s garden. Please park in the garage and bring your parking ticket to be validated along with your teacher’s badge for entry. The day will be spent outside with hands-on learning that will involve quite a bit of walking. Dress comfortably, pack lightly, and bring water/snacks.
