Fine Arts and LOTE at the Meadows Museum
The Goya Experience: Helping Students Develop Critical Thinking and Intercultural Awareness

This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.

Important Session Information:

How can students learn about art, design, culture and language all at the same time?  Experience it for yourself as Meadows Museum Educator Anne Kindseth and Region 10 Fine Arts / LOTE consultant Meredith Clark facilitate gallery discussions about Francisco de Goya’s exceptional ink drawings from his “Witches and Old Women” album.  Each discussion models how to help students develop critical thinking and intercultural awareness.

A light dinner will be provided.  Parking is located underneath the museum.  Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing for indoor temperatures.
