This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.


Important Session Information:


This year's program: Presentations from two panels of historians, lunch, and keynote address.

Panel 1. "Tractors and Milk: Developments in Hopkins County Agriculture, 1945-1979," Austin Baxley (Texas A&M University-Commerce) and Chuck Baclawski, "Comparing the Little Tuskegees: The Fargo School in Arkansas and the Farmers Improvement Society of Texas." (Collin College)

Panel 2. "Eyewitness History: The Making of the Cotton & Rural History Conference: Roundtable: Dr. James H. Conrad (A&M-Commerce); Susan Lanning (Audie Murphy - American Cotton Museum); and, Dr. Kyle Wilkinson (Collin College)
