Passport for Paraprofessionals

Paraprofessionals add imperative value to an early childhood classroom. The paraprofessional supports the teacher in providing a classroom environment that promotes the academic, social, and emotional growth of our youngest learners. This training is designed specifically for paraprofessionals who work in an early childhood setting. Participants will leave with a toolbox of resources to foster a strong foundation for success in an early childhood classroom. Specific strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners, including struggling students, will be included. Best practices that promote kindergarten readiness will also be explored and discussed.
