SPAND will be hosting its Saturday workshop on Saturday, February 1, 2020.
Kristie Knickerbocker, MS, CCC-SLP will be presenting "Voice Umbrella: Don’t Get Drenched in the Downpour."

This course will give an overview of Acoustic and Aerodynamic analysis of voice for low cost options, Review videostroboscopy and discuss videos for what can be within normal limits, discuss behavioral evaluation and ways to probe for stimulability. We will advance through behavioral treatment and physiological programs for treatment. After lunch, we will discuss laryngeal manipulation techniques for puberphonia and MTD, Gender Spectrum Voice Therapy, Special populations (VCD, SD, paralysis) and what to do when your patient is not improving. We will end with a lecture on why patients don’t come back, how we can improve that, and how to keep them on track.

TIME: This course has been approved by TSHA for 6 CEUs. The presentation will start at 9:00 AM and end at 4:30. There will be an hour lunch break, and we have allowed for two 15 minute breaks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. You must attend the entire course to receive the CEUs.
