Lean how to create a walkSTEM experience for your students to learn math and science in any location! Real world STEM at its finest can be found anywhere if you take the time to look, think, and plan. This out-of the-building style session will begin in the Microsoft Store at NorthPark Center shopping mall in Dallas. Participants will be taken on a guided STEM-based walking tour of NorthPark Center hosted by walkSTEM. They will also participate in a workshop using walkSTEM methodologies and learn about free resources for them and their students. Take at look at talkstem.org for more information!
**The fee below DOES NOT APPLY if your school district is in the Region 10 RCS co-op and $0.00 will be reflected upon checkout, so please disregard the charges in your cart if this applies to you!
An optional additional 3 hours of credit will be given for designing a walkSTEM experience at the participants’ home campuses.
We will meet at 9:30 am at the Microsoft Store (Level 1 near Macy’s and across from Zara).
